Unlike just feeling down every once in a while, clinical depression is a bad feeling that just will not go away. It does not improve over a short period of time or change when circumstances change. It interfers with the way people think, feel, and behave. Depressed people brood, cannot concentrate, and cannot enjoy normal pleaures. One of the most important things for people living with depression to know is that there are people who care about them and how they feel. If you are or think you are suffering from depression then you need to go to a doctor right away so they can diagnose you properly. Diagnosing yourself is not a good idea as you are not always accurate. If you are suffering from depression you need to be medicated and talk to someone.
